Arboretum Walk and Picnic, Sunday May 16

The Washington Mindfulness Community invites you to a walk and picnic at the National Arboretum in Washington DC on Sunday, May 16 from 10am to 12noon. Our gathering will be mindful of social distancing and all ages are welcome!

We’ll meet at one of the picnic tables just north of the large parking lot on the south side. We will walk to the nearby Morrison garden and the azalea gardens, which also has the eagle nest. We can return to the picnic table area for lunch/snacks. The Children's area, Youth garden and Fern Valley are also nearby.

Please give yourself lots of extra time. If you're not familiar with the Arboretum, it's not that well marked. You can email wmcsangha@gmail.com with any questions. Also please note that from April to mid May, the only vehicle entrance is the New York Ave. one. If you park on R St, NE, you can still walk or bike in from there.
