Dear Friends
Please join us this Sunday, April 17, at 6:30pm EST, as we hold our weekly WMC mindfulness practice via Zoom.
After sitting meditation we’ll read The Refuge Chant, watch a portion of a dharma talk by Thich Nhat Hahn, and have an opportunity to practice dharma sharing. The entire program will run about 60 minutes total.
In this week’s dharma talk, Thay talks about the Buddha’s very first teaching and one of the most important foundations of our practice, the Four Noble Truths:

If you would like to join us virtually, please write to us at wmcsangha@gmail.com, and we will send you the Zoom link for the meeting.
Our Sangha is supported by dana - donations given from the heart. A large part of your tax deductible donation goes to help the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation (which right now is pretty much all that is supporting our monks and nuns in monasteries around the world). Your generosity also helps support the Vihara (the monastery that hosts our meetings in DC in ‘normal’ times), WMC expenses, the library, and your own practice. These remain difficult times for so many, but if you can afford to make a contribution, you can do so via the Donate page on this website.
Be well, take good care of yourselves and each other, and we’ll see you Sunday! ️
